Sir Paul McCartney has hinted that he will perform at next year's Olympics in London.
The former Beatle is one of a host of big names who have been linked to performing at the Opening Ceremony next July, but has so far remained quiet over the rumours.
However, Sir Paul gave a strong indication that he might be involved during an appearance on US TV, reports The Sun.
After nodding in response to a question about whether he would perform, Sir Paul added: "I met the guy who knows the guy who's going to ask somebody about it soon.
"I hear there's a rumour that I might be involved."
And speaking in reference to The Beatles, he replied: "I hear they're planning this sort of music."
A source went on the claim that organisers were also keen to get the only other surviving Beatle, Ringo Starr, to perform at the event.
