Emma Watson has said that she is looking forward to regaining control of her life now that the Harry Potter franchise is at an end.
Watson has played Hermione Granger for the last ten years, and admits that she is relishing the chance to discover more about her true self.
She told The Mirror: "Not a single second of the day was in my power. I was told what time I'd get picked up, what time I could eat and when I could go to the bathroom.
"I have spent more of my life being someone else than I have being myself. I've always had a strong sense of who I am and what I want, but I do need to spend more time figuring that out."
However, she doesn't regret playing the teenage wizard for a second, saying: "It will always be a part of who I am and I feel so blessed to have shared in it."
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released on July 15.
