On way to Milan...
Take That's tour plane was struck by lightening ahead of the start of the European leg of their Progress tour.
The band were travelling to the opening show in Milan when their plan hit bad turbulence at 35,000 ft.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “The plane took off fairly normally, though we knew there was bad weather ahead, but mid way during the flight the turbulence was really quite frightening.
“Then suddenly, there was a bright flash, and the plane had obviously been struck by lightening.”
The source added that Take That's Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Robbie Williams were left “quite shaken up” by the incident.
