The Wanted, Adele Dominate UK Album And Singles Charts

The Wanted have scored their second number one single with 'Glad You Came'.

The track went straight in at number one on the UK singles chart, selling over 100,000 copies in a week.

The song is the first single to be taken off their forthcoming second album. There were no other new entries in this week's top-10.

Meanwhile, on the album chart, Adele returned to number one for a third time this year with '21'.

The singer's second album has now spent 17 weeks at the top this year, and has never been lower than number two.

Her debut album, '19', is also enjoying continued success climbing to number three, according to the Official Charts Company.

It has spent a total of 34 weeks in the top-10 - one of those weeks at number one - and has never been out of the Top 10 this year, despite being released some two years ago.

The Horrors were a new entry at number five with 'Skying'.
