Robbie Williams Planning Solo Tour After Take That Reunion

Robbie Williams is hoping to arrange a new solo tour following the success of his reunion with Take That.

The singer, who has battled stage fright throughout his career and last year cast down over his solo future, is said to be keen to return to the road next summer.

"Rob's in a great place at the moment,” a source told The Sun.

"He had such a hellish time the last time he did a global tour that friends never expected him to hit the road again. He scrapped his Close Encounters Tour in 2006 and checked into rehab soon after.

"But he's really come round to the idea again. He's been so humbled by the reaction coming back to Take That he's got his management on the case for shows next summer.”

The source added: “It's unlikely to be near the scale of his other tours but the ball is now rolling."

Take That are currently performing the European leg of their Progress tour with Williams.

The singer revealed recently that he had written his next solo album with Take That band mate Gary Barlow.
