Kings Of Leon have 'urged' Caleb Followill to enter rehab to get his drinking issues under control, according to reports.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Kings Of Leon cancelled a total of 28 dates, including the recently rescheduled Dallas gig and another in Houston.
A statement from the band said: "We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion.''
According to US Weekly the band are now concerned about his 'out of control' drinking.
A source said: ''Caleb's drinking is out of control and they are trying to get him into rehab. It's a dark demon he has been fighting for a while.''
The tour will now resume in Canada at Rogers Center in Vancouver on September 28 - one originally scheduled for September 14.
On Twitter, drummer Nathan Followill reinforced that the band would not be breakig up: “Bummed about the tour not happening. So sorry 4 all the fans. We just need some rest. Thanks 4 understanding. WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP!”
