Life Of Agony's Keith Caputo has spoken out about discrimination against people who undergo sex changes.

The frontman has already begun to refer to himself as 'her' and revealed to fans last month of his plans for the sex change over Twitter: ''Male to female transsexuals like me are the women who give up male privilege for femininity! Threaten the patriarchy!"

Speaking to Kerrang magazine about whether society is tolerant of people who undergo sex changes, he said: ''The whole system we live in is discriminative and f*cked up. Everything's f*cked up. There are no toilets for transgendered people for example, which is why there are so many beatings and brutalities. If the authorities and the people who make laws would be sensitive towards the idea that humans come in all shapes, in different forms and desires, then there would be a lot more love in the world.''

The metal band have released a total of four albums throughout their 22-year  career.
