Lionel Richie has cancelled his headline performance at this year's BBC 2 Hyde Park live, due to illness.

The singer, who was meant to perform at the event on Sunday (September 11), will now be replaced by Gary Barlow.

The event will also see performances from Will Young, James Blunt, Imelda May and Lenny Kravitz.

Meanwhile, Gary Barlow has assembled an all-star cast, which includes his fellow X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, for this year's Children In Need single.
