Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed that her mother has told her to stop crying on The X Factor.
The judge broke down on Saturday's programme when a mum-of-four sang a cover of Whitney Houston's 'All The Man I Need'.
After Michelle Barrett's performance, Contostavlos said: "You remind me of my mum. It was brilliant."
The N-Dubz star said her mum called her up to tell her to stop crying because she thought the programme, filmed in July, was live.
Tulisa broke down when she saw a contestant who reminded her of her mother.
“As if my mum called me 2nit going "r u ok love?stop crying!"...ITS NOT LIVE YET MUM! I'm sitting eating my dinner! Haha she cracks me up,” she wrote on Twitter.
Last weekend's programme marked the last before the boot camp stage of the TV talent show.
Meanwhile, Contostavlos has apparently taken the hard-line with contestants allegedly caught romping at the judges complex.
