Foo Fighters have released an official video showing them serenading protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church outside a gig in Kansas.
The band, who had been warned earlier this month about the planned demonstration, arrived outside the Sprint Center on Friday (September 16) on the back of a truck dressed as the characters from their recent homoerotic ‘Hot Buns’ video.
In the official video, they can be seen getting ready before being driven to perform the song 'Keep It Real'.
As previously reported on Gigwise, frontman Dave Grohl praised America as the “land of the free, home of the brave” during the performance.

He continued: “I don’t care if you’re black or white or purple or green. Whether you’re Pennsylvanian or Transylvanian, Lady Gaga or Lady Antebellum.
“Men lovin’ women and women lovin’ men, and men lovin’ men and women lovin’ women, you all know we like to watch that. God bless America ya’ll.”
Fans of Foo Fighters contacted Gigwise to praise the band for standing up against the organisation, which has previously picketed gigs by Lady Gaga.
