A community manager for DICE took to a Battlefield forum to lay into fans complaining about the beta copy of the upcoming Battlefield 3.
Fans had been angry to hear that only the Operation Metro map would be available in the demo, and were quick to voice their discontent, which led to Daniel Matros losing his temper.
He wrote: "Right now, I am not in the mood to even browse in here and check out most parts of the forum. The beta is a privilege, not a right.
"The vibe I'm getting now is just that tons of ungrateful people don't understand how much work we are putting on this game how many overtime hours we are doing and also how many meetings we are in to ship a game like this."
He then offered thanks to those who had enjoyed the demo, whilst telling the others to "grow up."
Battlefield 3 is released on PC, XBox 360 and PS3 on October 28.
Must buy games for Christmas...
