So it's been a busy old week in music! The news that The Stone Roses were reuniting for two (now three) homecoming shows in Manchester was more news than a born and bread manc could handle!
Glastonbury may have to wait another year but to watch the Stone Roses perform tracks from their 1989 debut to over 220,000 will certainly be worth the Worthy Farm sacrifice.
To share our love for music, gigs and debauchery (and Friday pub food desk lull) Gigwise thought we'd share what we'd been up to this October...
This month Gigwise launched it's video section which has seen us hang out with the likes of The Kooks, The Subways and the charming Professor Green.
After a Summer of practically no live gigs in London town, they seem to have all now come at once.
The Horrors performed a sold-out show at the Roundhouse, we witnessed an impressive balcony dive at KOKO by The Subways' Billy Lunn and tried to decided after a few too many beers what is so god damn sexy about Brett Anderson and those black trousers?!
We joined You Me At Six on their recent UK tour, which involved screaming girls, beer, screaming girls and an excessive amount of Nandos.
New bands To Kill A King and All The Young rounded off a speedy ass October and it was Twitter war with N-Dubz's Dappy!.
