Miles Kane has spoken exclusively to Gigwise about the release of his debut solo album, the recording of a new track and how he beat Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno in Fifa.
In a video interview filmed before last week's headline gig at Camden's Electric Ballroom venue, the Scouse singer discussed how things have progressed since the release of album 'Colour of the Trap'.
"It's been a steady build. You start from scratch, playing clubs to 80 people and build it up by working hard and getting out there and putting on a great live show."
Kane also revealed that he wants to record a new single in the coming months.
"I have this new song called 'Woman's Touch' that I want to record," Kane told us. "Then just before Christmas we're going to Australia to tour with the Arctic Monkeys".
Elsewhere in our chat, Kane revealed that the last time he saw Serge from Kasabian they were "playing Fifa and eating Minstrels in tracksuit bottoms".
When asked who won in the football video game, Kane hesistated before simply replying in utter dead-pan: "Me".
