The Stone Roses To Headline V Festival 2012 - Tickets

The Stone Roses are set to headline V Festival 2012, according to reports.

The newly reformed band will play at the dual-venue two-day event, which takes place in Chelmsford and Staffordshire every August, reports The Sun.

A source told the tabloid: "The Roses' upcoming tour has been put together by SJM, the same tour promoters who have looked after Take That, Oasis and Coldplay for their massive shows. Every year V Festival pulls in some huge acts.

"Eminem and Rihanna, who played this year, will be tough acts to follow, but the Roses are a massive draw."

The Stone Roses have also been confirmed to headline Scotland's T In The Park, which takes place the weekend before, July 6-8.
