Radiohead, Friendly Fires, Bon Iver: The Best Album Covers Of 2011 Photo:

Polls are a great way of seeing just how lucid the presence of a driving public opinion can be, yet on this occasion the results have been pretty bloody conclusive.

Radiohead have come out on top with their strange wibbly oil painting style cover for 'King Of Limbs', J Mascis has come a close second with his moody cartoon offering with a very unique style.

Other contenders in the poll include Friendly Fires, Bon Iver, Lykke Li and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

To find out the rest of the results you'll just head over to our photo gallery...

The rest of the top ten is as follows:

1. Radiohead - 'King Of Limbs'

2. J Mascis - 'Several Shades Of Why'

3. Guillemots - 'Walk The River'

4. Friendly Fires - 'Pala'

5. Memory Tapes - 'Player Piano'
