Will Young Hits Back At The BBC After Being Axed As Judge On The Voice

Will Young has hit out at the BBC's last minute to axe him as a judge from their forthcoming talent show The Voice.

Young had been set to join Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am, Tom Jones and Jessie J on the panel but was replaced by The Script's Danny O'Donoghue instead.

The Voice was launched in the US this year features Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton as judges.
Young told the Daily Star Sunday: "They wanted to go more rock."

He added: "Of course I'm disappointed not to be doing the show, not to mention how it's been handled.

"But the support from fans has been overwhelming. They really have been amazing."

The Voice is set to go up against ITV's The X Factor, which is set for another series.

Reggie Yates and Holly Willoughby have been confirmed as the hosts for the show.
