Red Hot Chili Peppers Reschedule Tour Dates Due To Anthony Kiedis' Foot Injury

Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman Anthony Keidis has been forced to postpone the bands U.S tour dates next week after undergoing emergency surgery on his right foot.

The singer is now recovering after undergoing surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone connected to the big toe, and to correct a detached tendon.

The RHCP frontman first sustained the injury back in 2007 when performing on the bands infamous Stadium Arcadia Tour after jumping off a bass drum on stage. Continuing to tour with broken bones in his foot, the injury has finally caught up with the singer who was seen earlier this week at a Basketball game in LA with crutches after the corrective surgery.

The bands cancelled tour dates have now been moved back to April when the band will play across America before embarking on a European tour.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are set to play the UK and Ireland this Summer including the massive Knebworth Park in June.

With their tenth studio album 'I'm With You' released last year, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are set to make their first performances with new drummer Josh Klinghoffer later in the year.
