Foo Fighters, Nicki Minaj To Perform At Grammy Awards

Foo Fighters and Nicki Minaj have been confirmed to perform at this year's Grammy Awards.

The Grammys' official Twitter account announced the news earlier today : "Happy to welcome @nickiminaj as a first-time performer on our GRAMMY Awards stage on Feb. 12!"

It has been reported that Adele will make her first live comeback at the awards.

Nominees for the prestigious Album Of The Year award include Adele's '21', Bruno Mars' 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans', Foo Fighters for 'Wasting Light', Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' and Rihanna's 'Loud'.

Kanye West has received has been nominated in seven categories; four for his solo work and three as part of his collaboration with Jay-Z on 'Watch The Throne'.

Bon Iver, Nicki Minaj and Skrillex have been nominated for Best New Artist Of The Year.

Elsewhere, Mumford & Sons receive four nominations including general field nominations for 'The Cave' in the 'Record Of The Year' and 'Song Of The Year' categories.

Radiohead and Rihanna are each nominated in four categories, while Coldplay, Minaj and Lady GaGa have each secured three nominations.
The 54th Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 12, 2012
