Michael Eavis has said that Glastonbury could introduce the revolutionary wristbands at next year's festival.
The wristbands will be a way of trying to wipe out ticket fraud for good, using normal wristband material with a small integrated chip.
The new bands will also be scanned when you enter and exit a festival, allowing organisers of the some of the largest events in the world to monitor crowds, although some punters may see this as an invasion of privacy.
Glastonbury's Michael Eavis was one of the promoters taking a look at the technology in action at Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in Holland, and said 'the system looks incredible, and better than what we are doing at the moment.'
The three-day event got under way in Somerset from June 24-26 last year and featured headline slots from U2, Coldplay and Beyonce.
Other acts on the bill include Elbow, Tinie Tempah, Queens Of The Stone Age, Morrissey and DJ Shadow.
