Adele has equalled the album chart records of Oasis and Queen.

The London singer has now spent 20-non-consecutive weeks at the top of the UK Charts equalling a chart record set by Queen and Oasis.

The legendary acts took eight and nine albums respectively to achieve the feat.

'21' has also broke records over the pond becoming the first UK album to reach 16 weeks atop the US Charts, equalling a record set by the soundtrack for film 'Titanic'.

Last year the singer underwent ‘career saving’ throat surgery last year after numerous problems with her voice.

Adele is up for the categories of Best British Female, Best British Single and Mastercard's revered Album Of The Year Award at this year's BRIT Awards.
