Emeli Sande has revealed that she has a written some new material for the Sugababes original trio.

In an interview with MTV.co.uk, Sande said; ''I’ve written for the original line-up of the Sugababes, which I’m very happy about because I just loved them when they first came out. I loved their sound, it was so cool. It was very different, so I’m happy to kind of be involved in what started the whole Sugababes journey. It sounds amazing."
This news has come as a shock, as singer Mutya Buena had said that there was no chance of a reunion, has she wanted to concentrate on her solo career.
The trio were recently reportedly working on new material and were set to record with the Xenomania songwriting and production team (Girls Aloud, Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys) as well as their old producer Cameron McVey, who worked on their 2000 album 'One Touch' and Siobhan Donaghy's debut album 'Revolution In Me.’
The original Sugababes line-up formed in 1998 and released their debut album 'One Touch' in 2000.
Donaghy left the band in 2001 and was replaced by Heidi Range. Buena departed in 2005 to be replaced by Amelle Berrabah and Buchanan was last to leave in 2009, with Jade Ewan stepping into her shoes.
