    Arctic Monkeys Lead NME Awards 2012 Nominations

    Including Arctic Monkeys, Noel Gallagher...

    Arctic Monkeys lead the way for this year's NME Awards with seven nods, including Best Live Band.

    The Sheffield group are also in the running for Best Album for their 2011 effort, 'Suck It And See'.

    They will also face Kasabian, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Horrors and Muse for Best British Band.

    Other nominees include Noel Gallagher, The Vaccines, Lana Del Rey and Odd Future.

    The ceremony takes place at the Brixton Academy in London on February 29.
