Amy Winehouse's parents Mitch and Janis received a standing ovation at the Grammy Awards last night (February 12) as they accepted an award on their daughter's behalf.
The singer won a posthumous award for her 'Body And Soul' duet with Tony Bennett.
Mitch and Janis proudly accepted the award for Amy who died last year at the age of 27.
Mitch said: "We shouldn't be here. Our darling daughter should be. These are the cards that we're dealt.
"Singing with Tony was something she was so excited about. Body And Soul is one of my favourite songs, so it was even more special.
When she recorded it I asked her if she knew the words and she said, 'Dad, I've heard you singing it for 25 years. Of course I know the words.'
"We are launching the Amy Winehouse Foundation in the UK and the USA and we'll make sure all money raised in the US will go to disadvantaged kids out here."
Janis added: "I'm so proud of Amy. Her memory will live longer than any of us. Thank you."
"Long live Whitney Houston, long live Amy Winehouse, long live Etta James. There's a beautiful girl band up in heaven."
Meanwhile, Adele took home all the awards she was nominated for including 'Record of the Year', 'Song of the Year' and 'Album of the Year'.
