New Blur Track 'Under The Westway' Unveiled - Listen

Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon performed a brand new Blur song during this year's pre-Brit Awards fundraising gig in London last night (February 19).

The pair unveiled 'Under The Westway' during their three-song set, which took place at Shepherd's Bush Empire.

The song is the first new material to be aired by the band since 'Fool's Day' in 2010.

Last week Graham Coxon confirmed that Blur will "definitely" release a new album in the future.

The band will perform at the BRIT Awards tomorrow night after they pick up the 'Outstanding Contribution' prize.

The guitarist said the band have been rehearsing and suggested that a new album is more than likely.

"It's pretty nice to be getting the Brit award. We haven't planned the rehearsals yet, but there will definitely be another Blur album.''

Speaking about Blur's reunion gigs in 2009, he added: "2009 was an amazing healing experience for us. We were really swept away with it and got a lot out of our systems. We realised how much we still had in common, that we are good friends, that we are brothers.

"We're always going to meet up and want to play things. We do like recording. Eventually, even if things aren't around the corner, Blur will do more recordings together. We all love each other and still like making music so that's not a bad start."

The BRIT Awards 2012 will take place February 21 at London's O2 Arena.
