Hotly-tipped Canadian electro star Grimes has announced details of a one-off London show, her second UK date of 2012.
The singer (real name Claire Boucher) will play London's Heaven venue on September 11, following a sold-out show at XOYO in May.
Signed to 4AD records, Grimes was an integral part of the illegal DIY loft culture of Montreal. She is considered a self-made star who released her songs through cassette and free online downloads.
Grimes will release album 'Visions' on March 12, her first with her current label.
The thirteen-track album will include ‘Genesis’ - which has earned the innovative newcomer much attention in 2012, as well as new single 'Oblivion'.
The video for 'Oblivion' was released last week – you can watch it here.
Tickets go on sale Friday (March 9) at 9am. For more details and to buy Grimes tickets, check out Gigwise GigTickets.
