After apparent confirmation of a Girls Aloud comeback in 2013, girlband Atomic Kitten have announced their return to the pop world.
The three-piece (Natasha Hamilton, Jenny Frost and Liz McLarnon) are set to perform a series of shows this summer. Singer Natasha, who attempted to launch a solo career following the group's demise in 2004, revealed the reunion in an interview with The Daily Star.
"We've all been doing our own thing but we thought the time was right to reform," she tells the tabloid. "I think it will be fun to go on tour to perform for a whole new generation of fans.
"A lot of our fans will have kids now so it would be great if they can both come along to watch us and enjoy our music."
Natasha also hinted that original member Kerry Katona could join the trio onstage and that they were still finalising comeback details.
"We're open to all options at the moment," she added.
