Yoko Ono has denied claims that John Lennon had suffered from bulimia.

A new book from author Debra Sharon Davis, entitled 'Backstage Pass VIP', claims that the legendary Beatles singer binged on foods such as Rice Krispies mixed with Ice Cream, but forced himself to be sick afterwards. She claims: "he hated the feeling of being full."

Ono has denied these allegations, stating that her late husband "was always on a very healthy diet." She stated: "John did not have an eating disorder."

However, she does confess that The Beatle was very strict with his food intake: "His diets included vegetarian diet, macrobiotic diet and, very rarely, a juice-only diet. All the above are internationally approved health diets."

Yoko is set to work with "The Flaming Lips" on their latest LP, alongside Nick Cave, Bon Iver, Ke$ha and Lykke Li. She released her last album 'Between My Head And The Sky' in September 2009.
