Liam Gallagher named greatest frontman of all time

Liam Gallagher is a man who loves himself…and he certainly will after being voted the greatest frontman of all time.

The former Oasis singer beat the likes of Freddie Mercury and Dave Grohl in XFM’s recent poll voted for by their listeners.

Queen frontman Freddie Mercury was in second place, with Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan in third place.

Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and Muse's Matt Bellamy round off the top five, with  Killers' Brandon Flowers, Morrissey, The Doors' Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Alex Turner completing he top 10.

Speaking about his win Gallagher said: Greatest frontman? I knew that anyway! There's not many of us about. There are a lot of pretenders out there. But I'd like to thank everybody for voting and stuff. Nice one.

It's always been about the vocal for me, man. If you're a good looking f*cker like me, you've got to be down the front, haven't you?"

We love you Liam but Freddie is the man!
