We're disappointed when we return home and our favourite pub or greasy spoon has been closed down - so imagine Mike Skinner's disappointment when he visited the spot featured on the cover of his most famous album and it was no more.

The frontman this week went in hunt of the Birmingham bus stop he posed at for the artwork to 2004's 'A Grand Don't Come For Free' to find it had been replaced.

He blogged to fans: "Should have done a Google Maps to check."

Mike Skinner has announced that he will release a memoir, entitled The Story Of The Streets, on March 29.

The memoir will see Skinner collaborate with writer Ben Thompson, who has also worked on the autobiography of Russell Brand.
