Pop recluse Kate Bush has been named the best mum in our Mother's Day poll.
The mother-of-one, and 'Wuthering Heights' pop innovator, beat mouthy Londoner Lily Allen into second place. Also placed in the Top Five were Chris Martin's wife, and Glee performer, Gwyneth Paltrow, US soul singer Alicia Keys and brilliant Icelandic nutter, Bjork.
Kate Bush broke her pop hiatus in 2011 with the release of not one, but two Top Ten albums. She released 'Directors Cut' and '50 Words For Snow' to rave reviews and not unimpressive sales.
She made her debut on the music scene in 1978 with the groundbreaking, 'The Kick Inside' album. She is married to guitarist Dan McIntosh and the couple have one son, Albert.
