Will.i.am slams Cher Lloyd and Simon Cowell

The Voice judge Will.i.am has slammed Cher Lloyd and her music career, saying that she 'should have been a massive star'.

The Black Eyed Peas star spoke of his disappointment over Cher Lloyd's music ahead of a TV clash when The Voice makes its BBC debut on the same evening as Cowell's talent project, Britain's Got Talent, returns to screens.

"I love Cher Lloyd. She should have been the biggest star in the world. She should have had the coolest freaking music," The Sun newspaper reports Will as saying. "It's like they put them out, juice them, juice them, juice them, and give people something to watch on TV.

"Then, who is making sure she has the right material? That is wrong."

Cher Lloyd recently performed at SXSW festival, and releases her debut US single, 'Want U Back', soon.
