Psychedelic rock duo MGMT are set to release their third album in September 2012.
Plans for the band's third album are due to be revealed tomorrow in Columbia Records newsletter, revealed the label's Chairman and CEO, Rob Stringer.
The duo, Benjamin Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden, are currently in the studio recording tracks for the follow up to their 2010 release, 'Congratulations'. Stringer told that MGMT are in good spirits and said to 'feel very good' about the upcoming release.
The band previously confirmed in January 2012 that five songs had already been written for the album and later told that producer Dave Fridmann was working with the band on the album.
