The four members of Led Zeppelin have been voted as Britain’s ‘ideal supergroup’.
The poll by Planet Rock Radio asked around 3,500 listeners to create their dream band by picking their favourite star for each respective instrument.
Jimmy Page was the favourite guitarist narrowly beating Slash from Guns n’ Roses and Deep Purple’s Ritchie Blackmore.
Robert Plant was voted as the best singer fending off competition from Freddie Mercury, Paul Rodgers and Bono.
John-Paul Jones beat The Who's John Entwhistle to the top bass player, while the late John Bonham was voted best drummer ahead of the likes of Keith Moon and Phil Collins.
Presenter Trevor Dan from the station said: “This is an amazing result.
