One Direction invited to visit The White House

If you thought the success of X Factor losers One Direction could not get any more infuriating after being labelled 'the next Beatles', they have now been invited to visit the home of the President of the USA.

After meeting Michelle Obama backstage at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, The First Lady asked the band to come and visit the presidential home.

A source told The Sun, “''She invited them to the White House for their annual Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday. It was such an honour.''

The band had to decline due to being on tour in Australia but the source added “They'd love to go another time.”

We're pretty sure Barack Obama has more on his plate to worry about than five teenage boys coming round to look for Easter eggs.
