The Mystery Jets have premiered their new video, 'Someone Purer'. Watch it below on Gigwise.

The video shows scenes of a dysfunctional family, prostitutes, cheerleaders and spooky children on a hellish late-night drive, with David Lynch undertones in its nightmare qualities.

The track, the first single taken from their fifth album 'Radlands', due for release on 30 April, 2012, the 'Someone Purer' debut follows the announcement this week that bassist Kai Fish had quit the band.

The bassist spoke of his departure from the band with the NME, saying: "It was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. I sat down with the guys and said, 'I'm finding being in the band really hard, but I'll try my best to carry on.' And I did, but feelings just don't go away."

An official statement on the Mystery Jets website added that he was planning to spend more time with his young daughter.

Watch 'Someone Purer' below.
