Dave Grohl denies seducing Courtney Love's teen daughter

Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl has hit out at Courtney Love after she claimed that he had seduced her teenage daughter Frances Bean, her only child with Kurt Cobain.

The claims came via Courtney's Twitter account with the Hole singer saying that she had heard on the grapevine that the pair had hooked up and that she was ready to kill Grohl, who was in Nirvana with Cobain, for what he had done.

In the Tweets, which appeared on Love's private account but have since been made public by Gawker, Courtney accuses Grohl of being 'sexually obsessed' with Kurt Cobain and that: "I hear from Frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on Frances, and that she was curious, I'm not mad at her, him I am about to shoot dead."

However, responding to the messages Grohl has issued a statement which reads: "Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."

Courtney Love and Dave Grohl have clashed many times in the past over the legacy of Nirvana and Cobain's music, most recently when 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' was used on the 2011 movie The Muppets without her permission.
