The 2012 Ivor Novello Award nominations have been revealed today with Adele, PJ Harvey, Lana Del Rey, James Blake and Ed Sheeran amongst the nominees.
Adele is the hot tip for a song-writing prize, picking up four nominations. She will face off against Florence + The Machine and Ed Sheeran in the category of Best Song. The '21' star is also nominated for Best Album where she will go up against Kate Bush ('50 Words For Snow') and PJ Harvey ('Let England Shake').
Meanwhile, Radiohead's Johnny Greenwood is nominated in the Best Film Score category for his work on We Need To Talk About Kevin.
The full list of nominees can be seen below. The 57th Ivor Novello awards take place on May 17th.
