Lana Del Rey confirmed for The Voice performance

Lana Del Rey is set to perform live on an upcoming episode of BBC talent show, The Voice.

The 'Blue Jeans' singer will perform on the show next weekend, revealed the show's official Twitter account. Next weekend's show is the series first results show.

'To clarify: @LanaDelRey is performing on the results show next Sunday (April 29th) & @emelisande the Sunday after (May 6th). Happy Sundays.'

The performance marks Del Rey's debut on primetime UK TV, following a string of American TV appearances - which have met with mixed reviews. Lana was critically mauled for her Saturday Night Live performance earlier this year.

The hesitant star's performance on SNL has since inspired a tribute blog, Lana Del Rey Dancing.
