A series of unseen photos of The Beatles are to go on sale next month after they were discovered in a family home in Preston.
The pictures, taken in 1964 by Pinewood studios employee Peter Allchorne, have been left unseen as the photographer was unaware and uninterested in The Beatles. It is believed that the photos show Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr performing at The Scala in London and are expected to make £10,000 at auction.
Speaking about the photographs Peter, took, his daughter Jacqueline Griffin said: "It was not unusual for him to be on set and taking pictures. He wanted to take pictures of one of the crew, a mate Alfie, and they were there, it was when the Beatles were on stage."
"He got to know them quite well but he was just not that interested. I think they just larked about and had a good time."
"He was not particularly star-struck, they were just four lads in a band, it didn't really hit him."
The auction, which takes place at Omega Auctions in Stockport, Cheshire on 19 May, will also include a menu signed by the band from a time that Allchorne went to The Bahamas for the filming of Help! in 1965.
