A naked photo of Madonna is to go on sale at a New York auction house - and is expected to sell for thousands.
Fans of the star will be able to bid for the snap, which originally appeared in her 1992 book 'Sex' - which starred Vanilla Ice, Madonna and Madonna's vagina.
The photo shows Madonna lying on a bed while smoking a cigarette and was taken by photographer Steven Meisel. Auction house Bonhams hopes it will sell for over $5,000.
Madonna has spoken of her difficulty putting the book behind her, once saying: "I hope that's not the only thing that I'm identified with - taking my clothes off. I have done other things. There's a lot more to Madonna than taking your clothes off."
