Noisettes are set to return in 2012 with their third album and have previewed the release with a taste of their new single 'Winner' today.
The track is a typically catchy tune from the band who brought us 'Don't Upset The Rhythm' and 'Never Forget You' but with a noticeable less retro feel than the songs that made up 2009 album 'Wild Young Hearts'.
Speaking about the recording process on the as yet untitled third album, lead singer Shinghai Shoniwa said: "We've been collaborating with with some fantastic pop-smiths recently. We enjoyed tropical evenings in L.A.'s infamous Westlake studios with will.i.am’s songwriter, Jean Baptise ('Winner'). Sometimes we'd drive off into the sunset after a session in our rental Mustang convertible and write a song or two by the highway-side with the top down, Californian style"
Winner is released on July 9th. You can hear a short preview of the song below, now.
