Azealia Banks has cancelled many of her appearances at UK festivals this Summer after her management insist she spends more time recording her debut album.

The hotly tipped '212' star was expected to perform at Lovebox and Rockness festivals amongst many others but will now focus on finishing work on her album, 'Broke With Expensive Taste'.

A statement from Bank's management reads: "Azealia Banks will be performing at the Radio 1 Hackney Weekender and Reading & Leeds Festivals this Summer, but has unfortunately had to cancel her remaining UK festival appearances due to recording commitments. Her October UK headline tour will still go ahead as scheduled".

The New Yor rapper recently switched her management, signing with the team behind Lady Gaga

Earlier today a remix of Lana De Rey's 'Blue Jeans' featuring a new verse from Azealia premiered online. You can hear it here.
