Black Sabbath have announced details of a one-off homecoming show at Birmingham Academy on May 19th.

Often considered the original metal band, Black Sabbath have reformed with lead singer Ozzy Osbourne and will headline this year's Download festival in June.

The Birmingham show, at O2 Academy, will act as a warm up for the Download headline slot. It will be the bands first Birmingham show in thirteen years. The band are currently working on their first studio album in thirty three years with seven-time Grammy winning producer Rick Rubin
