It's a battle of the pop babes at the top of the midweek singles chart as Rita Ora is set to knock N-Dubz singer Tulisa from the top spot with her new single, 'R.I.P.'

Ora's new single is the fastest selling single of 2012 so far, eclipsing first-week sales of her previous release (and No.1 debut), 'Hot Right Now' with DJ Fresh.

She knocks Tulisa's 'Young' to No.2 while Alex Clare climbs to No.3 with 'Too Close'.

Meanwhile, on the album chart, Keane's comeback has found a following with music fans, as the band's new album 'Strangeland' is currently outselling the Top Five combined. Richard Hawley's brilliant 'Standing At The Sky's Edge' is new at No.2 while Barbadian group Cover Drive debut at No.7.

Damon Albarn might want to keep solo options open, however, as his debut solo release, 'Dr.Dee' enters at a lowly No.39.
