Mark Ronson has revealed that he would often sleep over at Michael Jackson's house as a child, calling the sleepovers 'pretty wild'.

Producer/ artist Ronson grew up in a showbiz household and Jackson was a friend of his family. As a result he was often invited to stay at The King Of Pop's home when he was younger.

Speaking to Live magazine, Ronson explains: ''I was probably 12. He was super cool. You're 12 years old and he's the world's most famous overgrown kid, who's running around your friend's apartment with you. It was pretty wild.''

Meanwhile, Ronson also revealed that he was saved from a near-death experience by Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney.

''That sounded like one of my mum's crazy stories," said Ronson. "But then I did a song with Paul McCartney a few months ago. After a couple of days in the studio, he came in and said, 'Your mum's Ann, right? Me and Linda (his late wife) would always run into your parents on the beach in Long Island.' I told him about my mum's story that he saved me from drowning one time, and he said he vaguely remembered something like that."

Meanwhile, it was reported today that George Harrison's wife wants McCartney to help finish off an album her husband started work on before his death in 2001.
