Rita Ora has said that she wants to be a huge success in all areas of the entertainment industry, mirroring the success of her mentor Jay-Z.
The Kosovo-born Londoner went straight to number one in the UK with her single 'RIP' this week, securing the fastest-selling single of the year so far. However, mere musical triumph is not enough for Rita, as she explained to the Daily Star.
“I want to slowly create an empire," she said. Explaining: “I’ve got a great team that helps me and I have a plan of what I want to do. But I don’t think too far ahead.
Speaking about her ideal role, Rita said that she sees herself starring on screen with Daniel Craig as a 007 femme fatale. “Acting is something I’d love to get into eventually, especially action films – I’d be the Bond girl who fights.
Adding: “I saw a bit of Plan B’s film 'Ill Manors' when I was in LA recently and it’s f***ing sick – he just does his own thing, which I admire, but music is my priority for the moment.”
Ora recently revealed that she is happy with being compared to Rihanna, another star who has worked in both music and movies.
