Ronnie Wood has sparked more rumours that The Rolling Stones could tour later in the year after saying he is 'keeping October/ November free' in his diary.
The Stones guitarist added to an already active rumour mill which has seen fans and media outlets suspecting that the iconic band will play live in the UK at some point in 2012.
Speaking to The Sun, Wood said: "It looks like we are going to be doing more stuff. I am keeping October/November free, that’s what I've been told. I'm just awaiting more information."
Whilst a tour may be possible, fans should not expect the bands first album since 2005, with Wood scoffing at the idea of writing any fresh material. "New ones? Are you joking? We are familiarising ourselves with our back catalogue and have only scratched the surface."
The Rolling Stones previously denied reports that they will play a part in London's Olympic games celebrations this Summer.
