Chris Brown has thanked Cheryl Cole for supporting Rihanna’s decision to forgive him for his infamous 2009 assault on the 'We Found Love' star.
The former X Factor judge has spoke to British radio show In:Demand with Alex James, urging the public to forgive Brown for beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Cole has claimed that if Rihanna can forgive, then fans should be able to do the same.
Cole said, "I think it's really kind of Rihanna actually (to forgive Brown). She's come out and publicly forgiven him really. I think it's about time we all did if I'm completely honest, if you want my opinion... I think it's time we all moved on. That guy is talented as hell."
Showing his appreciation to the Girls Aloud singer, Brown tweeted, "Your (sic) amazing! I appreciate you."
However he did replace the message with a more diplomatic, "Thanks for the support and believing in me as an artist!"
