Robbie Williams, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys are amongst a group of stars rumoured to be replacing Kelly Rowland as a judge on the UK X Factor.
The three stars are, according to The Sun, appearing as guest judges on the new series of The X Factor. However the full-time replacement will not be chosen until the boot camp stages of the competition.
Last year’s Judge Kelly Rowland left the panel due to ‘scheduling issues’ and ‘global commitments’ and with the auditions for the new series this Wednesday (May 23), the show's producers extremely anxious to find a replacement.
Take That band member Robbie Williams is tipped to be Cowells top choice, having helped out his band mate Gary Barlow on last year’s show. Williams is rumoured to be filling the role during the London auditions. Veteran rocker, Rod Stewart is also reported to have been asked by Simon to ‘stand-in’ during the shows in Glasgow.
After the show was considered a flop with the ratings last year, Simon Cowell and the producers are frantically trying to find the correct replacement, at the risk of the shows failure.
