UK soft-rockers Keane held onto the No.1 spot in this week's album chart, but do so in the lowest week of record sales since 1996.

Holding off new releases from Tenacious D and Ren Harvieu, Keane spent a second week at No.1 with their 'Strangeland' release, but sold under 20,000 copies to hold that place. The album sold just 19,982 copies - only the second time this century an album has topped the charts with sales below 20k. In April 2012, Adele's '21' hit the top spot with sales of just 17,065.

Tenacious D sold 15,971 copies of their 'Rize Of The Fenix' and scored a No.2 hit while Ren Harvieu shifted 10,493 copies of her debut, 'Through The Night', landing at No.5. Nineties rockers Garbage make their chart comeback with new album 'Not Your Kind Of People' at No.10 - with sales of 8,310.

Meanwhile on the singles chart, Rita Ora spent a second week at No.1 with her single 'R.I.P' with new entries in the Top Ten from The Saturdays and D'banj.
